What is a Certified Clinical Nutritionist?
A Certified Clinical Nutritionist also referred to as a CCN focuses on how foods are digested, absorbed, assimilated, and ultimately how food affects the body biochemically. Dr. Marc’s approach to diet structure is developed according to what is best for the individual.
He will determine the healthiest and most effective program for the individual according to the latest nutrition research, their personal test results, and their unique bio-chemical make-up.

Food Safe Allergy Testing
What is food IgG testing?
The FoodSafe Allergy Test, which requires only a small amount of blood, tests for 95 food antigens. This allows the patient to do the test at home or for the doctor to do in-office without a venipuncture. The finger is pricked with a lancet and then drops of blood are placed on a blood spot collection card.
With this test you can determine the primary cause of adverse food reactions. A food that causes an IgG response is referred to as delayed hypersensitivity.
IgG responses may cause delayed symptoms, such as joint or muscle pain, chronic headaches, fatigue, eczema, and psoriasis.
Since IgG reactions often occur hours or days after particular foods are consumed, correlating symptoms can be difficult. The reactions can be subtle or severe, and may lead to chronic (long-term) symptoms and chronic degenerative conditions.
When an IgG food is avoided it may take 3 to 9 months for the antibody level against that food to decrease significantly.
Candida Screen Included, Candida Albicans
Sometimes it is not the the food sensitivities but it’s the infection (candida overgrowth). Candida is normally found in very small amounts in the human intestinal tract; small amounts do not cause problems in a healthy person. Too much Candida can result in symptoms very similar to those caused by food allergies.

They Truly Listen
I’ve been a cyclist since I was very young. The majority of my early riding was on the road and evolved tremendously over time. I, like most everyone else, rode for fun and to challenge myself. Over the years I rode longer distance at a much harder pace moving from 50 to 100 to 150 and higher for mileage in a single ride. It was always difficult, I always had a hard time breathing and felt extremely fatigued. Over a span of 20 years I saw numerous clinical doctors that gave me various diagnoses for breathing to include medication. I was initially happy to have an answer, but was always disappointed in the end because it just didn’t work. The results were so bad that there were years I had so much difficultly that I hung my bike up in July for the year. It was very frustrating.
I transitioned over to mountain biking when I was 42 years old. It was a challenge in many ways, but the greatest challenge was the increased intensity with shorter duration. As I challenged myself to improve from a mid-pack race finisher to a race winner, the symptoms got progressively worse.

6 years into this lifestyle and I’m still going strong. I’ve had my ups and downs, but with Marc’s supports and diet supplement tweaks, I’ve been able to podium on multiple 12 hour and 24 hour mountain bike races. The best part, while it’s nice, it’s not necessarily about the races. By far my quality of life has improved beyond my expectations. I often wonder how my life would have been different if I had met Marc sooner.
