I was born and raised in the southwest corner of Wisconsin in Prairie du Chien. I attended UW-Platteville for my undergraduate degree and attended Palmer College, in Davenport, Iowa for my Chiropractic education. I am a second- generation chiropractor. My brother and I followed in our father’s footsteps by attending Palmer College and branching off to each build our own private practices.
I have been practicing in Kewaunee, WI since 1996. I took over Dr. Claire Hackman’s practice. I currently reside in DePere with my wife Christen and our children Chandler (11) and Iyla (7). My oldest daughter Ava just graduated from Carroll University with an Environmental Science degree. My daughter Maya will be starting her junior year at the University of Minnesota working towards a Computer Science degree.
My ultimate goal has always been to help people achieve optimal health. I use multiple resources to help my patients reach this goal. I am National Board Certified in Physiotherapy and Sports Injury. More recently, I became National Board Certified in Clinical Nutrition. This is where my true passion lies.
I have further specialized in clinical nutrition to help people recognize, develop and implement a healthy lifestyle that is specific to each patient. This is something I not only speak about in my practice but live and follow in my personal life as an endurance cyclist. I enjoy adventure racing, hunting, fishing, and sharing in these things with my kids. I pride myself on practicing what I preach. Having a healthy lifestyle by eating foods that fuel my body gives me the strength and energy to do all the things I enjoy doing.
As I stated before, it is my ultimate goal to work with each of my patients to figure out their specific needs and to connect them with the proper resources that will give them answers and be well.
